Hello, it's me again! Today, i shall tell you about my ........."ideal" ambition. I have not really made up my mind yet, but this is what i want to do for now. My ambition is to be a comic writer. I know it sounds strange, but there is nothing else i can think of. Firstly, i am good in drawing... not neccesary art , rather... comics. As i said in my introduction, i like to read and draw my OWN comics.... i know i sound rather eccentric, so please bear with me. I know you do not know many students who draw their OWN comics, but i do, for leisure, and to let my friends read. Oh , and i think YOU will enjoy them too.... i think. However , my comics are not like the manga you find in japan, but....i am rather ashamed to say.... stick figures. Hey! Do not get me wrong! I AM serious in my drawings, and i draw and illustrate the stick figures so well they they look quite nice.... i think, different people have different opinions, you know, some people love my comics, some people hate them, but i do not care. Firstly, it is my hobby, i like to draw what ever i like, and secondly, it can improve my art and drawing skills ..... so that if i can eventually and possibly make a living out of selling my comics, they would be quite well drawn. I think that writing comics is a very risky ambition, it is either that the people like your drawings ,and you earn big money and expand your business overseas, or the public hates your drawings, and you will lose all the money, time and effort you spent in the comics, and you may even go bankrupt....so i still think that my current idea of a job, which is to be a comic writer, is not confirmed, and that i still think i should wait until i am more mature before i really think hard and decide what i should be in the future....... besides, you will not know what the future holds! As for the history of comic drawing, i do not know much, just that it MAY have started appearing in newspapers,.....i think. i have hyperlinked a few sites related to comic drawing, you can go take a look if you want. =D
